Age Limit: Candidates shall be 28 years as on 01.05.2018 for unreserved category. Age relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST Candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non - Creamy Layer), 10 years for PWD Candidates.
Qualification: Candidates should possess Diploma In Mechanical for post 1, Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Certificate (BAMEC) for post 2, ITI & NAC for post 3 to 9.
Application Fee:
a) Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) is to be paid as application fee. The application fee is non-refundable.
b) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD are exempted from payment of application fees.
c) The above application fee is to be deposited in the name of “HAL- Helicopter Division (Recruitment Account)” bearing account number 36566499939 at any core banking branches of State Bank of India (SBI) only in the prescribed challan. No other form of payment is accepted. Prescribed challan format is available under downloads in the online registration form.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of the candidates shall be done based on the marks scored in the written test in the order of merit.
General Conditions:
a) Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
b) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category and applying through the reservation quota are required to produce valid Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority at the time of Document Verification. The Date, Time & venue for Document Verification will be intimated to the candidates who are provisionally selected in the Written Test via email (in the email id provided in the Application Format by the candidate). The same will also be hosted on the HAL Website.

The Company which had its origin as the Hindustan Aircraft Company was incorporated on 23 Dec 1940 at Bangalore by Shri Walchand Hirachand a farsighted visionary in association with the Government of Mysore with an Authorised Capital of Rs.4 crores (Paid up capital Rs.40 lakhs) and with the aim of manufacturing aircraft in India. In March 1941, the Government of India became one of the shareholders in the Company holding 1/3 of its paid-up capital and subsequently took over its management in 1942. In collaboration with the Inter Continental Aircraft Company of USA, Hindustan Aircraft Company commenced its business of manufacturing of Harlow Trainer, Curtiss Hawk Fighter and Vultee Bomber Aircraft.
